Do I need it?

Under health and safety law, as an employer you're responsible for complying with all health and safety legislation (Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, Regulation 3). Currently you're not required by law to eliminate all risk, but you have to ensure that you protect people as far as is ‘reasonably practical'.
